Dwayne Merkley

Dwayne Merkley of RR#2 Crysler died suddenly at Cornwall Community Hospital on Wed., March 4, 2009. He was 68.
He was the beloved husband of Sheryl (nee Sharkey). He was the cherished father of Karey (Daren) Nurse, Kraig (Tammy), Kent (Cynthia), and Kris (Candice). He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Amanda, Devin, Travis, Kolten, Tyson, Jasmine, and Montana. He was the loved brother of Verna Dillabough, Helen Swerdfeger, and Carol Barkley. He was predeceased by two sisters and two brothers. He was the dear son-in-law of Thomas and Dorothy Sharkey.
Family and friends paid their respects at the Daniels Funeral Chapels in Winchester on Fri., March 6. The funeral service was held in the chapel of the funeral home on Sat., March 7 with Rev. Wendy Wright-MacKenzie officiating, followed by interment at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Chesterville. The pallbearers were John Sharkey, Michael Sharkey, Barry Young, Todd LaPlante, Gerald Swerdfeger, and Jeff Barkley.
