Hendrikus J. Roosen

Harry Roosen of Vernon passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Tues., Feb. 24, 2009. He was 81.
He was the loving husband of Nellie (Van Oyen) and the father of Anne, Bernie (Mary), John (Donna), Nancy (Gerald Beuman), Ellen (Dave Lackey), and Catherine (Stuart Lackey). He was the dear grandfather of Greg, Sarah, Justin, Trudy, Paul, Scott, Mark, Lori, Michael, Andrew, Patricia (Sean), and Steven, and great-grandfather of five. He was the brother of Anne (Rudy Bekkedam) of Prescott, and the late John (Diny) of Pembroke. He is survived by three sisters and one brother in Holland. He will be sadly missed by many cousins, nieces, and nephews in both Canada and Holland.
Family and friends paid their respects at the Daley Family Funeral Home in Metcalfe on Fri., Feb. 27. The funeral service was held in the chapel of the funeral home on Sat., Feb. 28.
