Heather Ann Scott
November 1952 - June 2009
Heather Ann Scott (nee St. Pierre) of Long
Sault, passed away on Sat., June 27, 2009 after a courageous battle
with cancer.
She was the wife of Melvin Scott who is left to mourn the loss
of his beloved wife, friend, and confidant. Also left to mourn
are her two sisters Marilyn St. Pierre, Sheila (Randy) Lalonde,
and her mother Irene St. Pierre. She was predeceased by her father
Lyle. She leaves behind her three children, Carrie Ann Hurst,
Jason (Tammy), and Erin Hurst, who she cherished and loved unconditionally.
She was the loving grandmother of Demetrius Hurst. She will also
be deeply missed by her stepdaughters and their families, Cheryl
(Norm) King, and their children Bailey and Alyssa; and by Lorna
(Charlie) Jack, and their children Morgan and Kayleigh. She will
be missed by her nephew and niece Brendan and Meghan Lalonde.
She leaves behind aunts, uncles, and many cousins who will dearly
miss her but never forget what a warm, wonderful and giving person
she was.
Heather had touched many lives, but she will be sorely missed
by her best friends Gisele Corke, Tina Anderson, and Heather Billings.
As per Heather's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation
will be held at the Brownlee Funeral Home MacDougall Chapel and
Reception Centre in Ingleside on Fri., July 3 from 10 am until
12 pm when a service in Celebration of Heather's Life will be
held in the chapel of the funeral home. Committal service will
follow at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Chesterville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer
Society, Children's' Hospital of Eastern Ontario, or the Janet
MacDonell Pavilion Palliative Care Unit in Cornwall would be appreciated
by the family.
