Carrie M. Shirley

Carrie Shirley (nee Ellis) of Brinston, passed away peacefully at Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Wed., Jan. 21, 2009. She was 87.
She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph Shirley, and the loving mom of Arne (Anita), Carol Turley (David), Doug (Valerie), Mary Lou, Judy Warnock (Richard Bullock), Ronald, Terry (Maureen), Randy (Pat), and Jeffery (Jo-Ann). She was the cherished grandma of several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held at the Byers Funeral Home in South Mountain on Fri., Jan. 23 until the time of the service in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will be held in the spring at South Gower Cemetery.
By family request, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society.
