Ralph Steinburg

Sept. 14, 1918 ­ Jan. 22, 2009
Ralph Steinburg, our father, grandfather and friend, has gone to join our mother Vivian in eternal rest.
He has left behind his children Marilyn Carruthers (Ken), Shirley Porteous (Raymond), Katherine Rombough (Lynn), and Clifford Steinburg (Lise), 11 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. He was predeceased by two sisters Evelyn Hutchinson, Lois Wheeler, and one great-grandchild, Ryan Carruthers.
We would like to thank the doctors and nurses at both of the Queensway Carleton Hospital and at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital for their care of Dad. Special thanks to Lynn Hill and her staff at the Hartford Retirement Centre in Morrisburg for their kindness to Dad and Mom. Thanks also to Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home in Williamsburg. A special thanks to our neighbours, friends, and relatives who paid their respects, sent flowers, gave donations, cards, and food. Thanks to the Morewood United Church choir and the Morewood women for the lovely lunch after the funeral. Thanks to Doug, Tammy, and Ken for the lovely tribute of music to Dad. Special thanks to Lise for all her work on the pictures for both Dad and Mom. Extra special thanks to the Chesterville-Morewood United Church Minister, Wendy Wright-MacKenzie, for her kindness to our family. Wendy, we cannot express enough our appreciation for all that you have done for our family in our loss of Mom and Dad just two weeks apart. Thanks also to Pastor North for his kindness and prayers.
Dad, you are gone but we will never forget you.
