Vivian Steinburg

Vivian Steinburg (nee Fetterly), our mother, wife, grandmother and friend went to eternal rest on Wed., Jan. 7, 2009.
She left behind her husband Ralph, her children Marilyn Carruthers (Ken), Shirley Porteous (Raymond), Katherine Rombough (Lynn), and Clifford Steinburg (Lise), 11 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by one grandchild.
We would like to thank the staff at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital and Ottawa Civic Hospital. Special thanks to Lyn Hill and her staff at the Hartford Retirement Centre in Morrisburg for their kindness to Dad and Mom. Thanks also to Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home in Williamsburg. A special thanks to our neighbours, friends, and relatives who paid their respects, sent flowers, gave donations, cards and food, and to the Morewood United Church choir and the Morewood women for the lovely lunch after the funeral. Extra special thanks to the Chesterville-Morewood United Church Minister, Wendy Wright-MacKenzie for her kindness to our family, and for the musical tribute from her and her husband to mom. Wendy, you went above and beyond the call of duty.
Mom, you are gone but will never be forgotten.
