Erin Theresa Vaux

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Erin Theresa Vaux (McKinley) on Mon., April 27, 2009, of a brain aneurysm. She was 37.
She was the beloved daughter of Margaret Heaslip (Don) and the late Lawrence McKinley. She was the loving partner of Tony Holmes and the devoted mother of Dakota VanKessel (11), Dante Pringle (6) and Denver Holmes (9 1/2 months). She was the dear sister of James (Debbie), Maureen (Joseph Funai) and Shawn. She was the birth daughter of the late Sharon Garner and sister of Megan and Byron Garner. She will be missed by many friends, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A memorial tribute was held on Friday evening May 1 at her sister's home in Greely. A funeral mass was held on Sat. May 2 at St. Augustine's Church on Baseline Road in Ottawa followed by inurnment at Capital Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a trust fund being set up for the children would be appreciated.
