Evelyn Armstrong
Evelyn Bertha Armstrong (nee Lang) passed away peacefully at Dundas Manor in Winchester on Sun., Sept. 5, 2010. She was 91.
She was the beloved wife of the late Jack Armstrong. She was the loved mother of Ron (Barbara) of RR# 4 Crysler, and Richard (Janice) of Morrisburg. She was the dear sister of Alice McRae of Cornwall, and Lois Carruthers (Wilson) of Arnprior. She will be sadly missed by her grandson, Jeffrey, great-grandson Connor, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Sires and Bertha (Ouderkirk) Lang; four brothers, Sires, Wilfred, Gordon (Ethel of Cornwall), and Harvey; and by two sisters, Viola Dingwall and Ellen MacGregor.
Visitation will be held at the Brownlee Funeral Home, 18 Front Street in Finch on Thurs., Sept. 9 from 1 pm until 1:45 pm. A service in celebration of Evelyn's life will be held in the funeral home on Thurs., Sept. 9 at 2 pm with Rev. John Martin officiating. Committal to follow at Crysler Anglican Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Winchester District Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
