Laurian A. "Babe" Bedard

Babe Bedard of Winchester passed away peacefully at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Tues., March 23, 2010. He was 88.
He was the beloved husband of the late Iola and the loving Dad of Helen, Sue, Brian, Carol, Bob, Gerry, and Laurie-Ann. He was the cherished grandpa of 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was the dear brother of Sonia. He was predeceased by four brothers and four sisters.
By Babe's request, cremation has taken place. Friends met at Byers Funeral Home in South Mountain on Fri., March 26 at 10 am. The memorial service was held in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 am, followed by interment at St. Daniel's Roman Catholic Cemetery.
By family request, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
