Archie Black
Archie Black passed away on Sat., Aug. 28, 2010 at Dundas Manor,
in his 98th year.
He is predeceased by his dear wife, Minnie (nee Cameron), and
his daughter, Janet Lee. He will be missed by his children, Douglas
(Marlene) of Chesterville, and Barb (Tom) Casselman of Napanee,
and his son-in-law, David Lee of St. Catharines. He is fondly
remembered by his grandchildren, Kimberly (Kevin) McCaffery, Jeffery
Lee (Holly Plant), Kyra (Don) Johnson, Shandra Lee, Jason Lee
(Rosie Rodriguez), Michael (Beth) Casselman, and Kate Casselman
(Tim Lyall), and his great-grandchildren Kyle, Logan, and Conor
McCaffery; and Tre and Keenan Johnson.
Archie worked at Nestle's for 25 years from 1952-1977, and in
his free time he hunted and fished. During the last few years
he spent more time using his hands and woodworking. He was a lifelong
resident of Chesterville except for his stay at the Hartford in
Morrisburg for the past five years.
The family received friends at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral
Home in Chesterville, on Tues., Aug. 31 from 7 to 9 pm. The funeral
service was held in the funeral home on Wed., Sept. 1 at 1:30
pm with Pastor Tim Edwards officiating, and Ann Langabeer playing
the organ. Interment followed at Grantley Cemetery. The pallbearers
were Jeff Lee, Jay Lee, Mike Casselman, Kyle McCaffery, Logan
McCaffery, and Ross Casselman.

Memorial Hospital and would be greatly appreciated.
