Hazel Duke

Hazel Duke (nee Stewart) of Winchester passed away peacefully at Dundas Manor on Sat., May 22, 2010 in her 97th year.
She was the beloved wife of the late Robert John Duke. She was the cherished mother of Shelvia (Jim) Clark of Gravenhurst, Denzel (late Margaret) of Morewood, and was predeceased by sons Dean and Leonard. She was the sister of the late Emmerson, Arrington, Johnson, Edith, Wellington, Milton, and Velma. She will be fondly remembered by her eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Family received friends at the Daniels Funeral Chapels Inc. in Winchester on Tues., May 25 with the funeral service following in the chapel. The soloist was Bonnie Wallace and was officiated by Rev. Bruce North. The pallbearers were grandsons Jeff and Denny Clark; Taylor and Robby Duke; and great-grandsons, Davis Benson and Taylor Clark. Interment at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Chesterville followed the service.
