Walter Charles Lawrence
Walter Lawrence of Mountain passed away peacefully at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Tues., March 9, 2010. He was 70.
He was the beloved husband of Josie (Van Doormaal), and the late Agnes McLean. He was the loving Dad of Lori (Bryan Valeriani), and the cherished grandpa of Abby, Parker, and Chloe. He was the dear brother of Donalda (David MacLachlan), Anita (Paul Leslie), and Pat (Gordon Berry), and the uncle of many nieces and nephews. He will be fondly remembered by the McLean family.
Visitation was held on Fri., March 12 at Byers Funeral Home in South Mountain. The funeral was held in the chapel of the funeral home on Sat. March 13. Interment will be held in the spring at South Gower Cemetery.
By family request, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Diabetes Association or the Winchester District Memorial Hospital.
