George P. McIntosh

George McIntosh of Winchester passed away suddenly on Sat., Sept. 25, 2010 in his 86th year.
He was the beloved husband for 64 years of Alys McIntosh. He was the cherished father of Barry (Sandra) of Prescott, and Dale (Lynn) of North Gower. He was the dearest grandfather of Lance (Cheryl) and Laine; and Erin (Geoff) Campbell, and grandfather of Landon and Brooke McIntosh. He was the dear brother of Raymond, Elmore, and Orian (the late Eric) Steel. He was predeceased by brothers Gerald, John, and Ronald. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends paid their respects at the Daniels Funeral Chapels Inc. in Winchester on Tues., Sept. 28. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home today, Wed., Sept. 29 at 11 am with Rev. Christine Lowson officiating, followed by interment at New Union Cemetery in Williamsburg. The pallbearers are Dale Wise, Eric Steele, Lawrence Holmes, and Lance, Laine, and Erin.
