Donna Grace Merkley

Donna Merkley (nee McMillan) of Iroquois, formerly of Chesterville, passed away peacefully at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Mon., April 19, 2010, in her 67th year.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Wilfred and Marjorie McMillan. She was the loving mother of Kimberley (Jason) Brown of Chesterville, Vicki Merkley (Richard Taillefer) of Iroquois, and Corinne Merkley (Chris Kelly) of Chesterville. She was the dear sister to Vern McMillan (Sue), Debbie DeCooman (Ed), all of Chesterville, and Gail McMillan of Ottawa. She was predeceased by two sisters, Heather and Diana. She will be sadly missed by three grandchildren, Rylie and Nolan Brown, and McKenna Kelly. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Chesterville on Sat., April 24.
The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home in Chesterville (613-448-2120).
Donations to Winchester District Memorial Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
