Bruce Joseph Pelkey

Bruce Pelkey of Winchester passed away peacefully on Fri., Sept. 10, 2010, surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 52.
Bruce was the beloved husband of Libby, and the loving Dad of Danny, Cody, and Kyle. He was the cherished Poppa of Dylan Ethier. He was the dearly loved brother of Doug (Gloria), Pat (Elaine), Joan (Lyle), Wanda (Garry), and the late Linda and Andy. He was predeceased by his parents, Cecil and Audrey, and (Greg Donnelly "Poppy").
Bruce rested at the Byers Funeral Home in South Mountain on Sun., Sept. 12. The funeral service was held on Mon., Sept. 13 at 11 am at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church in Winchester. A private family committal service was held at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Chesterville.
By family request, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (brain cancer) or the Winchester District Memorial Hospital.
