Richard Lyle Schwerdtfeger
A resident of Wasaga Beach, Ont. for the last
five years, Richard Schwerdtfeger passed away suddenly at home
on Wed., March 24, 2010. He was 47 years old.
Richard was born and raised in the Morrisburg area and relocated
to Wasaga Beach in 2005, with his wife and family. Richard loved
the many people, places, and experiences he had while working
across the province for Hydro One, finally working at the Barrie
Warehouse for the past five years.
Richard leaves behind his sweetheart and best friend, Linda (nee
Berman), his children, Adam and Amanda, and granddaughter Isabella.
He also leaves behind his mother, Rachel Lefebvre, his step-mother
Margo, brother Michael (Lisa), and beloved sister Suzanne (Paul)
Lacombe. He will be lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews:
Courtney, Tyler, Emma, Amanda Lea, Chelsea, Justin, Kyle (Jovanna),
Jessica, Rebecca, and grandnephews Landon, Joey, Adam and Stephen.
Richard was a kind and gentle man who was loved and respected
by all.
A private viewing was held for family members Sat., March 27 and
Sun., March 28. As per Richard's wishes cremation has already
taken place.
The service will be held at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church
in Ingleside on Sat., April 10 at 11 am.
A celebration of Richard's life will also take place at the Oakview
Rexplex (Lions Den) in Wasaga Beach on Sat., April 17 from 1 to
4 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke
Foundation.
