Helen "Peggy" Wright
A resident of the Park Drive Villa in Williamsburg for the past 15 years, Peggy passed away suddenly at Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Thurs., Aug. 12, 2010. She was 94.
Peggy was born in Chesterville on Nov. 26, 1915 to her parents, John and Beatrice Colquhoun (nee Nash).
In 1942 she married George Wright and together they had one son, Paul.
She is survived by her son Paul of Morrisburg, and her sister Ruth (Irving) Cochrane of Mississauga. She was predeceased by her husband George, a sister Margaret Wells, and brothers Ralph, Alister, Mac, Art, and Peter Colquhoun. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Friends called at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home in Williamsburg, on Sun., Aug. 15. The funeral service was held at the funeral home on Mon., Aug. 16 with Rev. Elaine Beattie officiating followed by interment at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Chesterville. The pallbearers were Donald Wells, David Cowan, John Colquhoun, and Arne Vilmansen.
